Test Automation Engineer in FinTech

Test Automation Engineer is required by a growing FinTech SME to work with some of the world’s largest financial institutions on highly innovative software development projects. You will implement automated test plans and scenarios, integrate automated test suites, and triage, track and troubleshoot issues within an Agile environment.  

Salary: £40-45k

Benefits: My client offers global financial institutions as customers, as well as private healthcare, a personal budget for training and development, 25+ days annual leave, remote working, and the opportunity for designated time to work on your own highly innovative projects.

Out of Hours Cover: Is required 7 days per week for up to a maximum 12 weeks of the year, with £100 per hour worked in addition to your salary. Last year, only 5 hours OoH work was required. 

Location: Remote, and 5 days pm in the Croydon office

Experience Required

Previously worked as an Automation Test Engineer

Experience with C# .Net programming language

Selenium, TDD, BDD, SQL, Agile, SpecFlow, Cucumber or Azure DevOps experience preferred

A strong attention to detail and an ability to think laterally is advantageous

Experience working to deadlines is beneficial

A background or interest in FinTech, Financial Services, Trading, Derivatives or Commodities is a bonus.
