Senior Business Analyst (Capital Markets)

Senior Business Analyst is required by a Financial Services, Microsoft Gold Partner, who works with some of the world's best-known financial institutions including Exchanges, Banks and Brokers. My client helps streamline customers' back-office processes in the derivatives (futures and options) space. The role is to capture client requirements, translate this into usable concepts for the software development team and help design the solution.

Location: Remote plus 2-3 days in the Croydon office per month

Salary: £50-70k

On-Call: This role is part of the Out-of-Hours rota where you will be on-call 1 week in 4. You rarely have to respond to Out of Hours calls and renumeration is £100 per hour for each call answered.

Your Background:

Experience as a Business Analyst within Financial Services is essential

Must be able to create user stories and workflows, and capture, document and refine complex business requirements

Experience in Commodities, Trading, Futures, Securities, Settlements, Post-trade or similar is preferred

Must be able to manage senior stakeholders and work to tight deadlines

Previous employment within in a software company or similar is preferred

An understanding of Agile and the software development cycle is advantageous

A passion, interest or experience in Financial Services, Trading etc. is preferred.
