Solutions Consultant / Technical Business Analyst

A Technical Business Analyst or Solutions Consultant is required by a growing FinTech SME to work with some of the world’s largest financial institutions on highly innovative software development projects. You will capture client requirements and translate those business concepts into technical specs. You will also contribute towards the design of the solution.

This role would suit a current Technical Business Analyst or an experienced Application Support Engineer or Programmer who is looking to move into a Business Analyst role.

This role will be based remotely and will require visits to the London office and clients, when appropriate.

Salary range is £50-60k, possibly £65k, depending on experience.

Experience Required

Experience within Financial Services, ideally with the Commodities, Trading, Derivatives Futures Trading or Investment Banking sector, and a good understanding of terms such as Futures, Options Trading, Post-trade, settlement and clearing etc.

Worked as a Business Analyst, or an Application Support Programmer / Engineer who is looking to move into business analysis

Worked in a Microsoft stack and Agile environment, for example, with knowledge of Azure DevOps, TFS, Git and Visual Studio

Good knowledge of systems design, integration, web architecture, and NFRs (InfoSec, Performance etc.)

Basic understanding of programming languages and techniques such as C#, HTML, CC, XSLT, SQL is beneficial

A pragmatic and logical approach to decision making and an ability to work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organisation

A Computer Science degree or comparable is preferred
